Project the weeks you work

Weekly gross pay is your wage multiplied by regular hours plus overtime hours at your entered multiplier. Annual gross pay uses the weeks actually worked. CAD 40 × 40 hours × 44 weeks gives CAD 70,400 gross.

Keep CCQ allowances separate

For work covered by the applicable CCQ collective agreements, the 13% allowance gives CAD 9,152 on this example: 6% vacation, 5.5% statutory holidays and 1.5% sick leave. These employer-paid amounts are shown separately and are not added to the weekly budget. Accrual and payment may fall in different calendar years.

Use your own payroll deductions

Trade, sector, status, benefits and contributions can change payroll. Enter total deductions from a week with comparable gross pay to see a budget. The overtime multiplier is your input, not a rule selected by this calculator. No official CCQ payroll or universal net wage is calculated.
